Standing seam metal roof panels should never be penetrated with fasteners, therefore we have developed an aluminum spanner plate called the SS (Standing Seam) VentSaver Mounting Plate. It fits 95% of standing seam profiles from 12” - 24” and attaches to the seams using four of our patented RCT Roof Clamps, featuring cupped tipped set screws. The SS VentSaver Mounting Plate provides a strong and secure mounting surface for the VentSaver EZ with wing Kit. This beefy setup will provide 12”-16” of height protection to the pipe or chimney, depending on seam height. The VentSaver EZ Standing Seam Mounting Plate Kit contents include a 27” wide, 1/4” thick, aluminum Standing Seam Mounting Plate with four aluminum RCT clamps, and an .063 thick aluminum Ice Ramp with a protective rubber trim strip. The VentSaver EZ comes standard in mill finish and can be painted, or powder coated by the customer, if desired. For customers in heavy snow load areas, we recommend this set up utilizing the Wing Kit. This increases the overall strength of the VentSaver due to the Wing Kit’s ability to divert snow and ice around the base of the pipe.
